Another UnRomantic Marriage Proposal

Is the age of high tech gadgets and social media slowly killing romance? Let's discuss. We have heard of several marriage proposals via Facebook... Ick... Then there was the Groupon marriage proposal when a local deals page feature a "Grouposal" because the future hubby thought that would be the best way to get his future wife's attention. Now we have the least personal of all proposals, the iPad proposal. A gentleman named Jordan purchased an iPad 2 and engraved “will you marry me?” on the device and presented it to his girlfriend. Her response, "Yes! Now give me my iPad". Wow, heart warming. And of course the couple documented the experience using the iPad 2's crappy camera. I give the groom-to-be brownie points for at least staging a face to face proposal, but hey, diamonds or any gemstone really is forever, an iPad is not. Call me old fashioned, but I would prefer a face to face proposal in a cozy setting, a simple pretty ring, followed by a heavy duty make out session, and of course cocktails.
